July 28, 2007 - Nintendo has just confirmed that a secret meeting with Sony did happen prior to E3 2007 that contained a special surprise for you all.

Nintendo and Sony at the Funtime Carnival will provide Wii and PS3 owners several minutes of excitement in front of their television screen as they play minigames like Mario Plumbing, Loco Roco Blob Lameness, and Crash Bandicoot and Link Dance. The game contains a total of 30 minigames.

"We really wanted people to slap themselves in mediocrity," Phil Harrison of Sony explains. "...Some nerds think we're complete dumbos, but we'll show them." Broken Games Inc., a third party developer, is making the game since Nintendo refused to develop it and Sony really doesn't develop their own games.

The game will make use of PS3 and Wii's online services by downloading viruses to the systems that can potentially crash the systems. DS and PSP can interact with the game using their wireless capabilities. You can unlock special minigames for the portables by connecting.

Up to 1 player can experience the breathtakingly boring multiplayer minigames. "It's family fun." Bad I. Dea, the lead developer of the game, said. Square Enix also confirms that their characters take part in minigames like Sora Opens Doors. The game is currently set for release Summer 2008.
